The Panaracer GravelKing ZX is built for riders who want to carry serious speed across changing surfaces — from smooth tarmac and hard-packed gravel to loose descents and rougher sections.
At the heart of the ZX is a semi-slick centre tread designed to minimise rolling resistance on pavement and fast gravel. The tread transitions into more aggressive shoulder zones that provide additional traction and control when cornering or descending on loose surfaces.
Developed specifically with modern gravel racing in mind, the ZX combines Panaracer’s new ZSG Gravel Compound, TuffTex casing and BeadLock technology to deliver an impressive balance of speed, grip, durability and ride comfort. Fast Where It Matters
The ZX uses a three-zone tread concept:
- Slick centre tread — reduces rolling resistance on tarmac and hard-packed gravel.
- Intermediate tread — provides a smooth transition between the fast centre and outer tread.
- Aggressive shoulder tread — adds grip and stability when cornering or riding loose surfaces.
The result is a tyre that doesn’t force you to choose between a fast road-oriented gravel tyre and a more aggressive off-road tyre.
ZSG Gravel Compound
Panaracer developed a dedicated ZSG Gravel Compound specifically for the demands of modern gravel riding. It is designed to maintain low rolling resistance while providing predictable grip and durability across changing conditions. (Panaracer)
TuffTex Casing

BeadLock Technology
