The Continental Dubnital Race Rapid is Continental’s speed-focused cross-country and down-country MTB tyre, developed for riders who want maximum efficiency without sacrificing the grip and control required on modern XC trails.

Replacing the legendary Race King, the Dubnital brings a redesigned tread pattern together with Continental’s lightweight Race Casing and speed-focused Rapid Compound. The result is a fast-rolling tyre designed to accelerate quickly on flats and climbs while maintaining predictable traction through corners and technical sections.

The Rapid Compound is inspired by the characteristics of Continental’s road, race and gravel compounds. It is specifically designed for riders who prioritise speed and acceleration and don’t want to compromise rolling efficiency. Race Casing — Fast, Light & Supple

The Race Casing is Continental’s lightest and fastest MTB casing construction.

Its lightweight, supple one-ply construction combines the fabric and body compound to provide a smooth, compliant ride feel. Reinforced areas around the sidewall and crown provide a balance between low weight, suppleness and puncture protection, while maintaining tubeless capability.

The casing is Tubeless Ready and Hookless compatible, with a foldable aramid bead and an optimised bead area. It is designed specifically around modern Cross-Country and Down-Country riding. (Continental Tires)

Redesigned Dubnital Tread

The Dubnital’s tread has been redesigned around the demands of modern XC and Down-Country riding.

• Centre tread: Redesigned and siped studs provide efficient rolling while maintaining traction.
• Transition area: Reinforced and siped studs provide additional support during hard cornering and off-camber riding.
• Shoulder area: Larger, reinforced studs with additional slats provide increased grip and cornering stability.
