For over 30 years Chris King Precision Components has manufactured intentionally built industry leading bicycle components of the highest quality. Hubs, bottom brackets, and headsets are strictly made in the US from domestically sourced goods utilizing environmentally progressive production practices.

When Chrs King set out to design the R45 hub they had over 30 years of bearing experience and 20 years of building hubs under their belts. The R45 is the culmination of that experience; they focused on creating a lightweight road racing hub that utilized hallmarks of Chris King components: precision, performance, and quality. The R45 rear hub combines a redesigned RingDrive™ system with 45 teeth for lower drag and near instant engagement with a lightweight hub body and their legendary made-in-house bearings.
